What’s Playing: Podcasts for Summer and Beyond

What's Playing: Podcasts for summer

My podcast library is a playlist of culture, current events, true crime, and business.

After listening to some of my favorite podcasts I feel smarter and more informed. Playing podcasts during my daily commute makes the driver easier. I miss my routine. The pandemic has forced me to figure out other times to listen. Whether it is during a short drive or at home working on a project.

A podcast’s art of storytelling truly intrigues me.  If you can tell a great story, you have my undivided attention.

There is a podcast for every interest. One of my favorites is How I Built This with host Guy Raz. He takes well-known entrepreneurs and innovators on a journey back to where they started – sharing their vision, failures, and successes. Another is Nikole Hannah-Jones’ 1619, a timely account of how slavery transformed America. Then there are the addictive short series: The Shrink Next Door, To Live and Die in LA, and The Drop Out.

I am sharing some of my favorite podcasts with you and am always looking for something new. Share your favorites in the comments below.
