New Year: Planning, Reflection, and Self-Care

New Year's Planning, Self-Care, Self-Reflection, and Goal Setting

The best way for me to accomplish big goals is to establish a timeline and organize my ideas accordingly.  It may sound exhausting, but it does not have to be.

For so many, the beginning of a new year is an opportunity to start over or finally get that one thing you’ve been putting off done.   I am sharing tools that help me organize, plan, reflect, and implement simple self-care to balance the mind and body.  We deserve to be our best selves.

Tackle Procrastination, Make Self-Care a Priority and Reflect

A few years ago I came across the Passion Planner on Good Morning America. They were part of a daily deal and I purchased a few of them. Sadly, they sat on a shelf. When I started the blog, I had an abundance of thoughts and ideas. Using a planner was key to tackling procrastination, being organized, and staying focused. There are so many planners to choose from, but I found the Passion Planner to be perfect. I originally used the undated weekly format, but I found the daily three-month version a better fit.

While I have no plans of slowing down anytime soon, I find it important to take time each day and reflect. It is not easy some days, no plan or resource is foolproof, but I hope to put more time and effort into living a more balanced and zen filled life. The whole family benefits!
